Job summary

Henkel in Pune is seeking a SHE Coordinator to support the Integrated Management System (IMS) and day-to-day safety activities across the site. You will help maintain IMS documents, conduct internal audits, and assist in incident investigations, ensuring compliance with SHE standards.

Fresh graduates or those with related experience can apply. Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of ISO 14001/45001/50001 are desirable; there is room for certification upgrades and professional growth within a

Qualifications

• Experience with maintaining IMS and documentation systems.
• Ability to document, track and close corrective actions.
• Knowledge of SHE processes and ISO concepts (14001/45001/50001).
• Good writing and communication skills for reports and records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain IMS documents, SOPs, and records.
• Coordinate document review and distribution.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and report results.
• Track audit findings and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
• Assist in reviewing HIRA, Aspect Impact, and OTI.
• Conduct safety observations and compliance audits.
• Support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate SHE trainings and safety campaigns.
• Maintain SHE dashboards and KPI reports; ensure statutory records.
• Support external audits, legal compliance, and management reviews.

About this Position

Support the SHE department in implementing and maintaining the Integrated Management System (IMS), conducting internal audits, ensuring documentation compliance, and assisting in day-to-day safety activities across the site.

What you´ll do

• To maintain and update IMS documents, SOPs, work instructions, registers, and records.
• To coordinate document review, revision control, and document distribution.
• To plan, conduct, and report internal audits as per the audit schedule.
• To track audit findings and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
• To assist in review of HIRA, Aspect Impact, OTI.
• To conduct workplace safety observations and compliance audits.
• Support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action implementation & closure. Review and analyze SUSA’s.
• Coordinate SHE trainings, toolbox talks, and safety awareness campaigns.
• To maintain SHE performance dashboards, KPI reports, and statutory records
• To support legal compliance, external audits, and management review meetings.
• Promote safe work practices and drive continual improvement initiatives.

• M.Sc. (Chemistry) / BE chemical. Fresh graduates may apply.
• Candidates with relevant experience will have an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001.
• Understanding of HIRA, JSA
• Basic understanding of SHE compliance requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ready to upgrade the certification related to SHE management.
