Responsibilities

• Learn system management related to plant operations.
• Understand and follow ISO procedures and quality management documents.
• Assist in plant operation learning, capacity planning, and process optimization.
• Monitor reactions, adjust parameters, report faults, and ensure equipment runs safely.
• Collaborate with senior supervisor and team to ensure smooth shift operations.

Position Purpose

In essence, a science trainee in chemical manufacturing plant is a learner and a coworker, contributing to the efficient and safe operation of the production process while developing their skills and knowledge.

Strategic Responsibilities

• System management related to plant operations
• Understanding of organization ISO procedure.
• Learning & maintain systems, organization policy, procedure, guidelines.
• Understanding & learning of quality management procedure & it’s document.
• Ensure record keeping and its utilization for improvements.
• Learning & implementation of plant operation.
• Following strict health and safety rules and reporting any issues or problems.

Operational Responsibilities

• Learning about chemical processes and manufacturing operations.
• Monitoring chemical reactions, adjusting parameters like temperature, pressure, and flow.
• Ensuring equipment is functioning correctly and reporting any faults.
• Understanding & learning of plant production capacity & planning.
• Assisting with process optimization and improvement.
• Supervising of batches charging and verification of RM quintets
• Learning & understanding HAZARD of critical chemical.
• Basic knowledge of process safety standards (MSDS) & general industry standards
• Learning of solvent recovery operation through distillation column.
• Understanding of Packing & dispatch procedure.
• Operating of GLR and SS reactor, Centrifugal pump, piston pump, vacuum pump, Jet Ejector system.

People Responsibilities

• Collaborating with senior supervisor and other team members.
• Supporting after-training activities and ongoing learning
• Ensure smooth working of the shift to achieve high productivity and safety
