Job summary

Rubamin Private Limited is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee production during the assigned shift, ensuring adherence to safety standards and productivity targets. The role emphasizes SCADA operation, reporting, and coordination with maintenance to keep equipment available.

The ideal candidate holds a BSc in Chemistry or a Diploma in Chemical and brings familiarity with SAP/MS Office and SOP-driven processes within a chemical manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• BSc Chemistry and/or Diploma in Chemical required.
• Experience in chemical/manufacturing environments preferred.
• Familiarity with SCADA/DCS operations and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Supervising production activities to meet shift targets.
• Enforcing safety measures and promoting safety culture.
• Generating reports in line with SOPs.
• Managing shift manpower for productivity.
• Coordinating with Maintenance for equipment availability.
• Maintaining logs and records in systems.

This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of production activities during their assigned shift. Their primary responsibility is to oversee production processes, adhere to safety protocols, and maintain productivity according to established standards and procedures. Without this position, the organization would struggle to maintain efficient production operations during specific shifts.

Key Result Area

• Supervising production activities to meet shift-specific targets in line with SHE, housekeeping standards
• Enforcing safety measures and promoting a culture of safety among team members
• Generating accurate reports in compliance with SOPs
• Managing shift manpower efficiently to optimize productivity
• Coordinating with the Maintenance Team to ensure equipment availability and functionality
• Maintaining logs as per system and in computer also
• DSC/ SCADA operation
