Job summary

Novopor Advanced Science in Visakhapatnam is seeking a Production Operator to execute batch and continuous production processes in accordance with SOPs, quality and safety standards. You will operate reactors, mixers, distillation columns, filters and dryers, while maintaining thorough production records.

Candidates should hold an MSc in Chemistry or a Diploma (Chemical) with 3–6 years of experience in Agrochemicals, Specialty Chemicals or Fine Chemicals.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with batch and continuous production processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and EHS standards.
• Ability to monitor equipment and adjust process parameters as needed.

Job description

Purpose

To execute and monitor production processes as per defined SOPs, in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out batch manufacturing operations as per SOPs and production plan.
• Operate reactors, mixers, filtration units, dryers, distillation columns, and other process equipment. Monitor reaction parameters and adjust as required.
• Maintain accurate and complete production records and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve yields, cycle time, process consistency, and energy efficiency.
• Ensure strict adherence to EHS guidelines, PPE usage, and chemical handling protocols.
• Report deviations, near misses, or hazardous conditions. Participate in HAZOP, risk assessments, and safety audits.
