Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 0–2 years of maintenance/engineering experience.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA or ISO 9001 certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Team: Assist senior maintenance engineers and technicians in performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and overhauls of foundry equipment.
• Equipment Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and report to supervisors.
• Maintenance Scheduling: Assist in scheduling maintenance activities, including planning and coordinating with production teams.
• Troubleshooting: Participate in troubleshooting and resolving equipment-related issues, using problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment history.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and company policies, and participate in safety audits and training programs.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with new technologies, equipment, and maintenance techniques, and apply this knowledge to improve maintenance practices.
• Certifications: Familiarity with industry-specific certifications, such as OSHA or ISO 9001.
