Job summary

ATHARVA FOUNDRIES PVT. LTD. invites applications for a Computer Operator to support production and admin tasks at MIDC Wai, Satara, Maharashtra. You will manage daily production data, generate reports, and operate ERP/production systems while maintaining documentation and coordinating across departments.

Minimum education is B.Sc. and B.C.A with 0–1 year experience in manufacturing. Proficiency in MS Office and basic hardware knowledge are essential; knowledge of foundry ERP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office and basic IT skills required
• Familiarity with ERP software is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Data Management: Record and manage daily production data (melting, molding, quality, dispatch)
• Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, monthly production and quality reports using MS Office
• System Operation: Operate and monitor ERP/production systems used in foundry operations
• Documentation: Maintain documentation for production activities, quality records, and procedures
• Coordination: Liaise with Production, Quality, Maintenance for data flow and workflow
• Inventory Support: Enter data for raw materials, consumables, finished goods
• Troubleshooting: Basic first-level hardware/software troubleshooting in office/production areas

We are seeking a diligent and proficient Computer Operator to join our dynamic team and support our production and administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Management: Accurately record and manage daily production data, including melting, molding, quality control, and dispatch metrics.
• Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production and quality reports for presentation to management using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• System Operation: Operate and monitor relevant computer systems and software (e.g., ERP, production monitoring systems, or potentially TCS/ERP if applicable) used in foundry operations.
• Documentation: Maintain proper documentation and file management for all production activities, quality records, and operational procedures.
• Coordination: Coordinate with various departments (Production, Quality, Maintenance) to ensure smooth data flow and support efficient workflow.
• Inventory Support: Assist with data entry related to raw materials, consumables, and finished goods inventory management.
• Troubleshooting: Provide basic first-level troubleshooting for computer hardware/software issues in the office and production areas.

Qualifications And Experience

• Education: Minimum B.Sc. & B.C.A
• Experience: Minimum of 0-1 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a strong preference for experience in a foundry or steel/metal industry.
• Computer Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential.
• Familiarity with any specific foundry/ERP software will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and network fundamentals.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
