Job Title: Trainee

Job Description

• Operate assigned production and packing machines as per approved SOPs and work instructions.
• Perform machine start-up, operation, adjustment, and shutdown activities as per established procedures.
• Verify machine cleanliness and readiness before commencement of operations.
• Ensure machine settings and process parameters are maintained within approved limits.
• Monitor machine performance during operation and report abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Carry out routine in-process checks and record observations in approved formats.
• Complete entries in equipment logbooks, BMRs, BPRs, and other production records accurately.
• Ensure proper identification and segregation of materials during machine operation.
• Minimize machine downtime through proper handling and timely reporting of equipment issues.
• Assist Engineering and Maintenance personnel during machine breakdown and preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensure machine and surrounding area cleanliness during and after completion of production activities.
• Ensure removal and disposal of waste generated during machine operation as per approved procedures.
• Follow GMP, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and Data Integrity requirements while performing operations.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during machine operation.
• Utilize machine capacity efficiently to achieve production targets and minimize wastage.
• Ensure safe handling of raw materials, packing materials, and finished products during machine operation.
• Report equipment malfunctions, deviations, incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor.
• Participate in training programs to improve machine operation skills and process knowledge.
• Comply with all Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements applicable to the work area.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to machine efficiency, productivity, quality, and safety.
