Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is offering a Trainee position at our site in India. The role involves operating and monitoring production and packing machines, ensuring adherence to SOPs, GDP, GMP, and data integrity requirements.

You will assist with maintenance, logging, and waste handling while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will follow approved procedures, maintain clean work areas, and participate in training programs to enhance machine operation skills

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned production and packing machines as per approved SOPs and work instructions.
• Perform machine start-up, operation, adjustment, and shutdown activities as per established procedures.
• Verify machine cleanliness and readiness before commencement of operations.
• Ensure machine settings and process parameters are maintained within approved limits.
• Monitor machine performance during operation and report abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Carry out routine in-process checks and record observations in approved formats.
• Complete entries in equipment logbooks, BMRs, BPRs, and other production records accurately.
• Ensure proper identification and segregation of materials during machine operation.
• Minimize machine downtime through proper handling and timely reporting of equipment issues.
• Assist Engineering and Maintenance personnel during machine breakdown and preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensure machine and surrounding area cleanliness during and after completion of production activities.
• Ensure removal and disposal of waste generated during machine operation as per approved procedures.
• Follow GMP, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and Data Integrity requirements while performing operations.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during machine operation.
• Utilize machine capacity efficiently to achieve production targets and minimize wastage.
• Ensure safe handling of raw materials, packing materials, and finished products during machine operation.
• Report equipment malfunctions, deviations, incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor.
• Participate in training programs to improve machine operation skills and process knowledge.
• Comply with all Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements applicable to the work area.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to machine efficiency, productivity, quality, and safety.
