Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Trainee to support the production and packing operations on the shop floor. You will operate assigned machines, follow SOPs, and help ensure smooth manufacturing processes in a GMP environment.

As a trainee, you will perform start-up, operation, adjustments and shutdowns, while maintaining cleanliness and accurate documentation. You will learn to monitor parameters, report issues, and participate in safety and quality initiatives.

• Operate assigned production and packing machines as per approved SOPs and work instructions.
• Perform machine start-up, operation, adjustment, and shutdown according to established procedures.
• Verify machine cleanliness and readiness before commencement of operations.
• Ensure machine settings and process parameters are within approved limits.
• Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Complete entries in equipment logbooks, BMRs, BPRs and other production records accurately.

Job Description

• Operate assigned production and packing machines as per approved SOPs and work instructions. 2. Perform machine start-up, operation, adjustment, and shutdown activities as per established procedures. 3. Verify machine cleanliness and readiness before commencement of operations. 4. Ensure machine settings and process parameters are maintained within approved limits. 5. Monitor machine performance during operation and report abnormalities to the supervisor. 6. Carry out routine in-process checks and record observations in approved formats. 7. Complete entries in equipment logbooks, BMRs, BPRs, and other production records accurately. 8. Ensure proper identification and segregation of materials during machine operation. 9. Minimize machine downtime through proper handling and timely reporting of equipment issues. 10. Assist Engineering and Maintenance personnel during machine breakdown and preventive maintenance activities. 11. Ensure machine and surrounding area cleanliness during and after completion of production activities. 12. Ensure removal and disposal of waste generated during machine operation as per approved procedures. 13. Follow GMP, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and Data Integrity requirements while performing operations. 14. Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during machine operation. 15. Utilize machine capacity efficiently to achieve production targets and minimize wastage. 16. Ensure safe handling of raw materials, packing materials, and finished products during machine operation. 17. Report equipment malfunctions, deviations, incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor. 18. Participate in training programs to improve machine operation skills and process knowledge. 19. Comply with all Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements applicable to the work area. 20. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to machine efficiency, productivity, quality, and safety.
