Job summary

Shivtirth Civil Engineering Services Pvt Ltd in Navi Mumbai is seeking a Traffic & Transportation Engineer to lead traffic analysis, forecasting, travel demand modeling and junction simulation using PTV Vissim or equivalent. You will work on urban and regional studies across multiple projects, coordinating with planners and GIS staff.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering (mandatory).

• 2–5 years of relevant work experience in traffic engineering, transport modeling, or transport planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct traffic data analysis, volume counts, and traffic forecasting.
• Develop travel demand models for urban, peri-urban, and highway projects.
• Perform microsimulation of junctions and corridors using Vissim or equivalent software.
• Conduct capacity analysis of road networks and intersections.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders and government authorities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including planners, designers, and GIS analysts.
• Support in project planning, scheduling, and timely delivery of outputs.
• Supervise junior engineers and contribute to team skill development.

The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting traffic analysis, forecasting, travel demand modeling, and junction simulation using advanced tools such as PTV Vissim or equivalent. You will work on urban and regional traffic studies across multiple projects.

• Excel, AutoCAD, and GIS tools
