Job summary

Tracxn, Bengaluru-based, is seeking an Associate Vice President (AVP) of Business Strategy and Operations to lead the Business Development team, shaping strategy, optimizing processes, and driving growth across the department.

You will partner with senior leadership to transform data into insights, turn challenges into opportunities, and deliver results with disciplined execution while mentoring managers and analysts.

Qualifications

• MBA from a Tier-1 institution is strongly preferred.
• 8-12 years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or analytical roles.
• Willingness to work in the US Timezone (6 PM - 3 AM IST).
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset.
• Strong communication skills, with experience in presenting to senior leadership.
• Preferred: prior experience in a B2B SaaS or market intelligence environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Associate Vice President (AVP) Business Strategy and Operations at Tracxn, you will be at the forefront of driving impact and innovation for our Business Development team. This is more than a leadership role it is an opportunity to influence strategic decisions, optimize operations, and power growth across your department.

Partnering with senior leadership, you will transform data into insights, challenges into opportunities, and plans into results. We are looking for a data-driven decision-maker and a hands-on executor - someone ready to lead with strategy, act with agility, and deliver with excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and implement business strategies in alignment with Tracxn's mission and departmental goals. Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and internal performance metrics to identify growth opportunities. Execute strategic initiatives, track progress, and measure success through defined KPIs.
• Operations & Process Improvement: Oversee day-to-day operations and streamline processes for efficiency. Implement automation tools and dashboards to monitor performance and productivity. Conduct regular operational audits and identify areas for process optimization.
• Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the department and senior leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Work cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to drive business outcomes.
• Leadership & Team Development: Lead and mentor a team of managers and analysts, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture. Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support professional growth. Build a results-driven, inclusive, and innovative team environment.
