Job summary

Jobitus seeks a Tooling Engineer/Sr Engineer/Asst. Manager for the Kothur Plant near Hyderabad to drive tooling selection for turning and milling applications and coordinate with suppliers.

The role requires GD&T knowledge, SolidWorks, process capability, and cycle time estimation with ISO/IATF alignment. The candidate should adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and guide prove-out activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or production engineering is required.
• Experience in tooling for turning and milling applications is essential.
• Solid understanding of GD&T and tool design principles is expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with tooling suppliers and follow up for planned timelines.
• Assist prove-out and support tooling validation and feasibility evaluations.
• Compute cycle times and optimize tool processes per drawings.

Job Description

• Knowledge about branded, non-branded tooling supplier
• Capable to make the individual tooling selection for turning & milling applications CNC, HTL, VTL, HMC, VMC, VTM
• Knowledge about GD&T to plan tool likewise
• Knowledge about SolidWorks 3D and 2D software’s
• Knowledge of process capability
• Knowledge of cutting parameters for different kind of tools
• Ability to make the cycle time estimation.
• Adhere to all ISO/ IATF procedures pertaining to job responsibilities
• Coordinating with suppliers
• Coordinate & follow up with supplier to get the required tools as per planned timeline.
• Support during prove out in all respect
• Cycle time computation, feasibility Execution of planned & designed tools
• Ability to work in fast paced / team environment & shifts
• Provide guidance to Prove-out Team
