Job summary

Sidhakala Engineers in Bhosari-Pune seeks a Tool Room Engineer to join the Tool Room department. You will support raw material planning, tool manufacture scheduling and coordinate with Design.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Bachelor in Engineering with 2–3 years of experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work under pressure while delivering quality service.

Qualifications

• Engineering diploma or bachelor's degree required.
• 2–3 years of experience as a Tool Room Engineer in sheet metal press parts.
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of tool manufacturing processes in a tool room.

Responsibilities

• Plan raw material procurement, scheduling, documentation and reporting.
• Inward weighing and sizing inspection as per receipt challan.
• Schedule and procure material in store and maintain inventory levels.
• Procure drawings from design dept and plan manufacturing of press tools; assign machine planning in tool room.
• Outsource manufacturing processes and related procurement with documentation and billing.
• Transit outsourcing material from tool room to prototype development parts.
• Submit bills for inward material and resolve supplier issues.
• Supervise in-house tool manufacturing on all machines and assist planning with head.
• Update production reports for all processes and report to head.

About Company: Sidhakala Group of Industries founded in 1997 is a press components, press toolings and welded assemblies manufacturing company. It comprises of two main units: Sidhakala Engineers(Bhosari plant); Sidhakala Industries (Chakan plant)

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor degree (Engineering)
• Over 2-3 years of experience as a Tool Room Engineer in Sheet Metal Press Part manufacturing company or a similar role.
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office , Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to work independently, carry out duties in assigned time, effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Knowledge of Tool Manufacturing process in Tool Room.

Key Responsibilities:

• Raw Material procurement planning, scheduling, related documentation and reporting.
• Inward Raw Material Weighing & Sizing Inspection as per Receipt Challan.
• Schedule and Procure all material in Store and maintain inventory levels.
• Procure drawings from Design Dept and daily plan manufacturing of Press Tools. Appoint planning on all machines in tool room.
• Outsourcing of manufacturing processes, procurement of related material with necessary documentation and billing.
• Transit outsourcing material from tool room and proto development parts.
• Submit all bills for Inward of all material to Purchase Admin and clear all bills related issues with suppliers.
• Supervise in-house tool manufacturing on all machines and assist planning with head.
• Update production report of all processes in system and report to head.
