Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Bengaluru seeks a technically strong leader to drive Safety Library and DriveCore product lines, owning features and bundles, with hands-on MCAL know-how and GenAI-enabled optimization.

The role requires end-to-end delivery, rapid learning of third-party components, and developing safety and security concepts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, integrated software solutions.

Job description

Strong expertise in MCAL, Safety library, Crypto library, BSW, and related components (Eg. Xev,BMS) with proven ability to integrate and test them. Deliver customer value and time-to-market advantage by bundling two or more software components into a unified package - providing a single installer, single user manual, single safety case, and single Assumptions of Use.

Key responsibilities

Qualifications and skills

• B.Tech/ BE/ M.Tech/ MS in Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ Telecommunication/ Instrumentation
• 10+ years of experience in MCAL/device driver development
• strong programming skills in Embedded C/C++ (including hands‑on experience with linker scripts, memory mapping, interrupts, startup code, DMA, and low-level driver development)
• Proven experience in using GenAI and human in the loop for driver development and generating Safety evidences & traceability
• Strong expertise in integrating multiple SW stacks developed by different vendors by understanding the other components and coming up with the technical integration strategy/safety strategy
• Safety, Security & Process Experience with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Automotive Cybersecurity (ISO 21434)
• Strong knowledge of ASPICE processes and software quality practices

Tools & Toolchains

• Hands-on experience with EB Tresos Studio, Vector DaVinci Configurator, and ETAS tools.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Perl, C#, or similar languages.
• Experience with development environments and toolchains such as GNU, TASKING, Wind River, and related embedded platforms.
• Solid understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS), multicore processors, and embedded systems design.
