Job Description (JD)

Position: TGT Mathematics Reporting: Principal

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to Classes VIX in accordance with CBSE curriculum, syllabus, and academic calendar.
• Plan and deliver lessons based on competency-based education, learning outcomes, and experiential learning as prescribed by CBSE.
• Use activity-based, inquiry-based, and problem-solving teaching methodologies.
• Integrate ICT tools, smart boards, and digital resources into classroom teaching.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching-learning materials aligned with CBSE pedagogical standards.

Assessment & Evaluation

Conduct assessments in line with CBSE Assessment Policy, focusing on formative, summative, and competency-based evaluation.

• Prepare question papers as per CBSE blueprint, weightage, and learning outcomes.
• Evaluate answer sheets and provide timely and constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.

Student Support & Development

• Identify learning gaps and conduct remedial and enrichment classes.
• Support inclusive education practices, including assistance to CWSN students, as per CBSE norms.
• Encourage logical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students.
