GD Goenka Public School, Aurangabad, Bihar seeks a committed, analytical, and dynamic TGT Mathematics teacher to deliver engaging, concept-driven instruction to middle and secondary school students. The ideal candidate will build logical reasoning, mathematical problem-solving skills, and academic rigor aligned with the CBSE curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Delivery & Classroom Instruction:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans aligned with CBSE standards and the National Education Policy (NEP).
• Demystify complex mathematical theories, algebraic structures, and geometric theorems using real-world applications and interactive methods.
• Integrate digital teaching tools, visual manipulatives, and smart classroom resources into regular instruction.

Student Assessment & Monitoring:

• Design periodic tests, quizzes, and assignment rubrics to track foundational and advanced concept retention.
• Maintain comprehensive academic performance logs and provide targeted remedial support to struggling learners.
• Identify and train high-aptitude students for mathematics Olympiads, inter-school competitions, and talent searches.

Classroom & Operational Management:

• Foster a disciplined, supportive, and active classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Maintain up-to-date lesson plans, grade books, incident records, and attendance registers.
• Coordinate with school leadership, Head of Department (HOD), and fellow educators for interdisciplinary projects and school events.

Parent-Teacher Communication:

• Conduct constructive interactions during Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) to communicate student progress, areas of improvement, and behavioral developments.
• Address parental queries regarding mathematics coursework and study plans promptly and professionally.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mathematics (B.Sc. / M.Sc. Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent).
• Mandatory B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution.
• CTET / STET qualification is highly preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 2–4 years of successful teaching experience as a TGT Mathematics, preferably in a recognized CBSE-affiliated English-medium school.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong conceptual clarity across Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Statistics up to Grade 10.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in handling digital learning boards, educational apps, and administrative MS Office/Google Workspace tools.
• Strong classroom management and positive reinforcement techniques.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: ₹30,000 - ₹40,000 per month
