Job summary

Siemens Ltd. in Mumbai invites Diploma/B.E./B.Tech graduates in Electrical Engineering for a hands-on trainee role in Smart Infrastructure. You will assist in MV panel testing, learn to read SLDs and schematics, and observe electrical protection systems under supervision.

You’ll follow EHS guidelines, support inspections and FAT, and work with senior engineers to ensure timely dispatch of panels. A structured learning program and on-the-job training are offered.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and power systems.
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings (SLD, schematics).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a factory environment.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing of MV panels as per IEC/IS standards and internal quality guidelines.
• Support in basic troubleshooting during testing under supervision.
• Read and understand Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and electrical schematics.
• Learn about electrical protection systems and relays.
• Follow EHS practices during testing activities.
• Support team in preparing panels for customer inspections and FAT.
• Work with senior engineers to ensure quality and timely dispatch of panels.
• Participate in continuous improvement (LEAN) and suggest ideas.

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (2023 / 2024 / 2025 pass-outs).
• Basic understanding of power systems / switchgear preferred.
• Strong interest in manufacturing / testing roles.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years will be considered
