Job summary

Siemens Ltd., Smart Infrastructure Division, invites aspiring engineers to join in Mumbai, India. The role focuses on testing MV panels, reading SLDs, and learning protection systems under supervision.

You will work with experienced engineers in a factory environment, participate in LEAN improvements, and gain exposure to real industrial projects and power systems. Diploma/B.E./B.Tech candidates with 0–2 years are welcome.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (2023–2025 pass-outs).
• Basic understanding of power systems / switchgear preferred.
• Strong interest in manufacturing / testing roles.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing MV panels per IEC/IS standards and internal guidelines.
• Support basic troubleshooting during testing under supervision.
• Read and understand Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and electrical schematics.
• Learn about electrical protection systems and relays.
• Follow EHS practices during testing activities.
• Support team in preparing panels for customer inspections and FAT.
• Work with senior engineers to ensure quality and timely dispatch of panels.
• Participate in LEAN continuous improvement and suggest ideas.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in testing of MV panels as per IEC / IS standards and internal quality guidelines.
• Support in basic troubleshooting during testing under supervision.
• Read and understand Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and electrical schematics.
• Learn about electrical protection systems and relays.
• Follow EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) practices during testing activities.
• Support team in preparing panels for customer inspections and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test).
• Work with senior engineers to ensure quality and timely dispatch of panels.
• Participate in continuous improvement (LEAN practices) and suggest ideas.

Eligibility Criteria

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (2023 / 2024 / 2025 pass-outs).
• Basic understanding of power systems / switchgear preferred.
• Strong interest in manufacturing / testing roles.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years will be considered
