Job summary

JobItUs in Thane is seeking a Testing Engineer with 5+ years of experience in electrical and electronic testing. The role focuses on validating DC regulated and programmable power supplies, performing inspections, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

You will operate DMMs, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and insulation testers, document test results, and support troubleshooting across PCB, module, and system levels. Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/EEE.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in English, Hindi and Marathi.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, electrical, and performance testing of DC Regulated and Programmable Power Supplies before dispatch.
• Conduct routine inspection, calibration, and quality checks to ensure products meet technical specifications and customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults at the PCB, module, and system levels, and coordinate with the Production and R&D teams for corrective actions.
• Operate and maintain testing equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, electronic loads, and insulation testers.
• Prepare and maintain test reports, quality records, and inspection documentation.
• Verify product performance against customer specifications and internal quality standards.
• Assist in prototype testing, validation, and new product development activities.
• Support installation, commissioning, and after-sales technical service whenever required.
• Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and electrical safety standards.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve product quality, testing processes, and overall reliability.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in electrical and electronic circuits.
• Basic knowledge of DC power supplies, SMPS, power electronics, and testing procedures.
• Hands‑on experience with test instruments such as Digital Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Power Analyzer, Electronic Load, and Insulation Tester.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Willingness to work on testing, fault diagnosis, quality inspection, and occasional customer site support if required.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Fluency in English, Hindi and Marathi.
