Job summary

ABB Smart Power in Nashik, India, is seeking a dedicated testing engineer to support LV switchgear testing and quality assurance. You will conduct test protocols, ensure compliance with IEC 61439, and participate in FAT testing and factory inspections.

You'll collect and analyze data, coordinate with suppliers and production teams, and help train staff to uphold ABB's quality standards. A BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics and 5–10 years of hands-on experience are required.

Qualifications

• BE / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 5–10 years of LV switchgear testing and quality assurance.
• Strong hands-on IEC 61439 testing knowledge.
• Exposure to customer handling and site activities.
• Good communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct test protocols to ensure products, systems, or software meet specified requirements and customer expectations in incoming, manufacturing, factory test labs, or final inspection quality, including internal testing routine and FAT as applicable.
• Support quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing and validation, and engineering, as applicable in the local organization.
• Execute and assist specific quality-related training, promoting a passion for quality and integrity in all actions, with a focus on result orientation.
• Collect, record, and evaluating data to be interpreted according to ABB specifications, customer norms, and applicable national and/or global standards while maintaining integrity.
