Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Test and Validation Engineer for high-power converters (MW range) in Bengaluru. You will own the V&V strategy from early validation through final regulatory approvals across India, EU, and US, coordinating testing and documentation with cert bodies.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in power electronics or electrical engineering.
• Experience with MW-scale converters and grid-connected systems.
• Hands-on with power analyzers, oscilloscopes and high-power testing.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end V&V strategy for MW-scale converters and certification.
• Develop DVP/PVP, ensure traceability from requirements to test cases and clauses.
• Build and manage MW-scale test benches and HIL-based certification scenarios.
• Lead pre-compliance and external lab certification activities and liaise with cert bodies.
