DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC in Bengaluru seeks a Group Lead – Central Inverters to drive end-to-end engineering for power electronics across solar inverters, BESS PCS, EV chargers, and electrolyser power supplies. You will lead architecture, governance, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust platforms.

You will own system requirements, ensure DFMEA/PFMEA, and push for cost-down, manufacturing readiness, and global certifications, while mentoring senior engineers.

Qualifikationen

• BE/BTech in Electrical or Power Electronics is required.
• 15–20+ years of relevant power electronics experience preferred.
• Experience leading MW-scale inverter projects and teams.

Group Lead – Central InvertersRole PurposeProvide end-to-end engineering leadership for power electronics products and system architectures, driving innovation, product robustness, cost competitiveness, and scalable platforms across AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC, Solar Inverter (Central and String), PCS, EV Charger and Electrolyser Power Supply and other power conversion Products and systems.Key Responsibilities1. Product & System ArchitectureDefine product and system architecture for:Solar Inverters (String, Central)BESS PCS (Grid-following & Grid-forming)EV Chargers (AC & DC Fast)Electrolyser Power SuppliesEstablish platform-based designs to enable reuse across power levels and applications.Own system-level requirements: efficiency, power density, reliability, safety, grid compliance.2. Engineering Execution & Technical GovernanceLead multi-disciplinary engineering teams of Electrical and Mechanical, System control EngineeringDefine engineering standards, design guidelines, and review mechanisms.Own design reviews, technical risk management, and design trade-off decisions.Ensure DFMEA, PFMEA, and functional safety concepts are embedded early.3.
