VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions) is seeking a Test Quality Assurance & Test Architecture Analyst to support QA governance, testing processes, and automation-led initiatives within the UK IT function. The role requires deep SDLC/STLC experience and collaboration with global stakeholders.

You will lead quality metrics, drive continuous improvement, and work with automation specialists to deliver process enhancements and operational efficiencies across testing engagements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Test Architecture, Quality Assurance, or Software Testing across the full SDLC, preferably telecom BSS/OSS.
• ISTQB Advanced Test Manager, ISEB Practitioner, TMMi or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and test management tools.

About this Role

We are seeking a Test Quality Assurance & Test Architecture Analyst to support quality assurance, process governance, test architecture, and continuous improvement initiatives within the UK IT function. This role is ideal for an individual with strong experience across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC), who can collaborate with global stakeholders, drive process compliance, improve testing effectiveness, and contribute to the implementation of modern testing tools, frameworks, and automation-led solutions.

What you’ll do

• Lead quality assurance, process measurement, governance, and continuous improvement activities across testing engagements.
• Support and guide test architecture functions through deep understanding of testing processes, methodologies, and industry standards.
• Partner with project teams to ensure compliance with SDLC and STLC processes, deliverables, and quality requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement testing tools, assets, frameworks, and best practices for effective test and defect management.
• ork closely with automation specialists to deliver process enhancements, digital transformation initiatives, and operational efficiencies.
• Monitor testing trends and emerging practices, applying innovative approaches to improve testing quality, effectiveness, and productivity.
• Act as a Test Design Authority within managed service environments, providing guidance on testing approaches and governance.
• Coordinate project test closure activities, capturing lessons learned and translating findings into measurable improvements.
• Conduct internal process adherence audits, report findings, and drive closure of non-conformances.
• Produce quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting that support informed decision-making and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with international teams across multiple geographies and delivery models.

Who you are

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Test Architecture, Quality Assurance, or Software Testing across the full SDLC, preferably within telecommunications BSS/OSS environments.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, testing governance, quality assurance frameworks, and industry standards.
• Professional certification such as ISTQB Advanced Test Manager, ISEB Practitioner, TMMi, or equivalent.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure DevOps and test management tools.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management within global and matrix-based organisations.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Experience with process audits, compliance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
