VOIS in India is seeking a Quality Analyst to drive manual and automated testing, validate requirements, and ensure high-quality software releases. You will execute end-to-end testing, design test data, and manage defects across the lifecycle while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of testing experience, solid knowledge of STLC/SDLC, SQL and Unix/Linux, and hands-on Selenium automation with Python.

Qualificações

• 2–5 years of testing experience and strong testing lifecycle knowledge.
• Solid understanding of STLC, SDLC and defect management processes.
• Experience with SQL, Unix/Linux and data validation techniques.
• Hands-on Selenium automation experience and related testing tools.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• ISTQB certification is desirable and beneficial.

About This Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Analyst with expertise in software testing principles, defect management, test execution and Selenium automation. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality software solutions by validating business and system requirements, executing comprehensive testing activities, performing backend and data validation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in manual and automated testing, along with analytical thinking and a commitment to quality best practices.

What You’ll Do

• Analyse business and system requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases
• Design test data and execute functional, integration, system and regression testing. Manage defects throughout the defect lifecycle, including defect logging, tracking, retesting and closure validation
• Participate in defect triage discussions and work closely with development teams to resolve identified issues. Perform SQL-based data validation and backend testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Execute testing activities within Unix/Linux environments and support troubleshooting activities. Develop, maintain and execute Selenium automation scripts to enhance test coverage and testing efficiency
• Ensure compliance with testing processes, quality standards and industry best practices, including ISTQB principles
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support successful software delivery

Who You Are

• Experience of 2-5 yrs into testing
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and defect management processes
• Good knowledge of SQL, Unix/Linux and data validation techniques
• Hands-on experience with Selenium automation and related testing tools
• Knowledge of Python programming
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
• ISTQB Certification is desirable
• Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
