Job summary

VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions) invites Software QA professionals to join our testing teams in India. You will design and execute test strategies, automate with Selenium, validate data with SQL, and work across Unix/Linux environments to ensure high-quality software delivery.

The ideal candidate will have STLC/SDLC knowledge, strong analytical skills, Python basics, and effective communication. ISTQB certification is a plus, and collaboration and continuous improvement are valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Selenium automation and related testing tools.

What You’ll Do

• Analyse business and system requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases
• Design test data and execute functional, integration, system and regression testing.Manage defects throughout the defect lifecycle, including defect logging, tracking, retesting and closure validation
• Participate in defect triage discussions and work closely with development teams to resolve identified issues.Perform SQL-based data validation and backend testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Execute testing activities within Unix/Linux environments and support troubleshooting activities.Develop, maintain and execute Selenium automation scripts to enhance test coverage and testing efficiency
• Ensure compliance with testing processes, quality standards and industry best practices, including ISTQB principles
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support successful software delivery

Who You Are

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and defect management processes
• Good knowledge of SQL, Unix/Linux and data validation techniques
• Hands‑on experience with Selenium automation and related testing tools
• Knowledge of Python programming
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
• ISTQB Certification is desirable
• Detail‑oriented approach with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
