Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is seeking a Test Manager with over ten years of IT experience in the Telecom BSS domain. The role requires hands-on testing across requirements, planning, execution and reporting, plus API testing and basic SQL scripting.

Strong communication and collaborative skills are essential for coordinating across testers, vendors and stakeholders. The candidate will oversee system integration testing, UAT management, and sign-off readiness for releases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of Telecom BSS domain and data/voice products.
• Experience in requirements analysis, test planning, execution and reporting.
• Experience with Defect Management Tools like ADO.
• Support UAT and obtain sign-off for releases.

• Advise on status, risks and resolutions related to testing and QA.
• Collaborate with team members, project stakeholders, business partners and vendors.
• Lead System Integration Testing, UAT management and Operations Readiness testing.
• Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) and basic SQL scripting.

Job description

1. Test Manager with minimum 10 years of IT experience.
2. Strong knowledge in Telecom BSS domain, knowledge of Data and Voice products.
3. Strong knowledge and experience in testing life cycle like Requirement analysis, Test planning, Execution and reporting.
4. Application Knowledge (Desirable): Salesforce, CPQ, Siebel-CRM
5. Advise and assist on status, risks and their resolutions related to testing and quality assurance
6. Exposure to Defect Management Tool (preferably ADO)
7. System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing Management, Operations Readiness Testing Management.
8. API testing like rest or SOAP, basic sql scripting
9. Good communication skills
10. Support UAT, including obtaining official sign-off approval on releases ready for UAT and production

11. Effectively collaborate and communicate and builds rapport with team members, project stakeholders, business partners and vendors
