Job summary

Tekskills Inc. in Chennai seeks an experienced Test Manager with 10+ years of IT experience to lead testing efforts across telecom BSS domains, data and voice products.

You will manage testing lifecycle from requirement analysis to release sign-off, oversee UAT, API testing (REST/SOAP), and defect management using ADO, and collaborate with stakeholders and vendors.

Excellent communication and risk mitigation skills are essential to align testing with project timelines and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of Telecom BSS domain.
• Experience with testing lifecycle: requirements, test planning, execution and reporting.
• Desirable: Salesforce, CPQ, Siebel-CRM.
• Advise and assist on status, risks and resolutions related to testing and quality assurance.
• Exposure to Defect Management Tools (preferably ADO).
• System Integration Testing, UAT Management, Operations Readiness Testing Management.
• API testing including REST/SOAP; basic SQL scripting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage test efforts across projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to align testing with project goals.

• Ensure UAT sign-off and readiness for production releases.

Job description

1. Test Manager with minimum 10 years of IT experience.
2. Strong knowledge in Telecom BSS domain, knowledge of Data and Voice products.
3. Strong knowledge and experience in testing life cycle like Requirement analysis, Test planning, Execution and reporting.
4. Application Knowledge (Desirable): Salesforce, CPQ, Siebel-CRM
5. Advise and assist on status, risks and their resolutions related to testing and quality assurance
6. Exposure to Defect Management Tool (preferably ADO)
7. System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing Management, Operations Readiness Testing Management.
8. API testing like rest or SOAP, basic sql scripting
9. Good communication skills
10. Support UAT, including obtaining official sign-off approval on releases ready for UAT and production
