Job summary

Yethi Consulting in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Test Manager with strong Core Banking Testing expertise and hands-on work with FLEXCUBE, Finacle, T24, or TCS BaNCS. You will lead testing teams, drive end-to-end testing activities, and manage stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 10–18 years of Software Testing experience, deep knowledge of core banking modules, and proficiency in Functional, Integration, SIT, UAT, and Regression Testing. Willingness to travel to client locations is required.

Qualifications

• 10–18 years of overall experience in Software Testing / QA.
• Strong experience in Core Banking Testing.
• Hands-on with Oracle FLEXCUBE, TCS BaNCS, Finacle, or T24.
• Proven experience in Test Team Management and Stakeholder Management.
• Experience designing, reviewing, and executing test scenarios and test cases.
• Proactive in communicating testing risks and driving issues to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, BRDs, and business specifications.
• Develop and review test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Lead end-to-end testing across Functional, Integration, SIT, UAT, and Regression phases.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor testing activities; manual and automated.
• Manage the defect lifecycle from logging to closure.
• Mentor testing teams and ensure timely delivery; coordinate with clients and stakeholders.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager with strong expertise in Core Banking Testing and hands‑on experience with one or more core banking platforms such as FLEXCUBE, Finacle, T24, or TCS BaNCS.

The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of core banking modules and recent hands‑on experience with core banking testing activities, preferably within the last 6 years. The candidate should be capable of leading testing teams, managing stakeholders, and driving end‑to‑end testing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand functional requirements, BRDs, and business specifications.
• Develop and review test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Lead and manage end‑to‑end testing activities across various testing phases.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor Functional, Integration, SIT, UAT, and Regression Testing.
• Perform and oversee manual and automated test execution.
• Review test deliverables and ensure adequate functional and business coverage.
• Manage the complete defect lifecycle, including defect identification, logging, prioritization, tracking, retesting, and closure.
• Lead and mentor testing teams and ensure timely delivery of testing activities.
• Manage communication and coordination with clients, business teams, development teams, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and present testing status reports, metrics, risks, issues, and progress updates.
• Proactively identify testing risks and drive issues through to resolution.
• Be willing to travel to client locations based on project requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10–18 years of overall experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
• Strong experience in Core Banking Testing.
• Hands‑on experience with one or more of the following:
• Oracle FLEXCUBE
• TCS BaNCS
• Strong functional understanding of Core Banking modules.
• Good knowledge of Retail Banking and Corporate Banking processes and functionalities.
• Experience in designing, reviewing, and executing test scenarios and test cases.
• Strong experience in Functional, Integration, SIT, UAT, and Regression Testing.
• Proven experience in Test Team Management and Stakeholder Management.
• Strong understanding of defect management and issue resolution processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong client‑facing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel based on business/project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional testing certifications such as ISTQB will be an added advantage.
• Experience working on large‑scale Core Banking transformation, upgrade, or migration projects will be an advantage.

Candidates should have current or recent hands‑on experience in Core Banking platforms, particularly FLEXCUBE, Finacle, T24, or TCS BaNCS, preferably within the last 6 years.
