Job summary

Ascendion is seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead quality engineering for telecom applications. You will drive test strategy, governance, and end-to-end QA delivery across OSS/BSS environments, leveraging automation and KPI-driven approaches.

Ideal candidates have 10–14 years in IT/testing, strong manual and automation testing capabilities, and a proven track record in SCRUM teams, with leadership across multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Telecom/Broadband domain experience mandatory.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager / QA Manager / QE Manager with 10–14 years of experience to lead quality engineering and testing initiatives for telecom applications and platforms. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in test strategy, test governance, automation frameworks, stakeholder management, and end-to-end QA delivery across Telecom OSS/BSS ecosystems. The role requires leadership in driving modernization, consolidation, release quality, and KPI-based delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• 10–18 years of overall IT/software testing experience with at least 3–5 years in a Test Manager/Lead role.
• Telecom/Broadband domain experience is mandatory.
• Strong background in both manual and automation testing.
• Hands-on knowledge of automation tools: Selenium, Appium, UiPath, and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (SCRUM) and working in cross-functional squads.
• Proficient with test management and collaboration tools – JIRA, Confluence.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
