Job summary

Euronet seeks a Test Engineer/Senior Test Engineer to join our testing team in India. The role focuses on switch/manual testing in the banking domain with emphasis on ISO 8583 messaging, SQL data checks, and end-to-end test reporting.

The candidate should have 3+ years of experience, knowledge of prepaid/wallet and multi-currency card testing, and familiarity with reconciliation and settlement concepts. AS400 exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Switch Manual Testing.
• Banking domain knowledge required.
• Knowledge of ISO 8583 signaling and messaging is essential.
• Proficient in SQL for data validation and reconciliation.
• Experience in Test Reporting & Closure processes.
• Defect Reporting, Tracking and Closure experience.
• Test case review and traceability practices.
• Exposure to Prepaid/Wallet testing and card systems is desirable.
• Knowledge of Single/Multi Currency Card testing.
• Experience in Transaction Level Reconciliation.
• Awareness of Network Settlement processes is a plus.
• AS400 knowledge will be advantageous.
• Scheme certification exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Switch Manual Testing for banking transactions.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to ensure coverage.
• Prepare and maintain test artifacts, reports and closures.
• Log, track and verify defects till resolution.
• Review test cases and ensure traceability to requirements.
• Validate prepaid/wallet and card-based transaction flows.
• Perform currency and settlement related validation for tests.
• Assist in reconciliation and settlement processes where needed.
• Leverage AS400 knowledge to test legacy interfaces.
• Support certification activities where applicable.
