Job summary

Coforge is seeking a skilled Payment Testing Engineer in Pune to join our QA team. The role demands 5-8 years of hands-on testing experience with payment applications, gateways, and card/UPI transactions. You will assess transaction flows, APIs, and backend processing in a fast-paced environment.

Expertise in payment ecosystems, regression testing, and agile ceremonies will help drive quality across banking and fintech projects at Coforge.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of software testing experience with hands-on payment testing exposure.
• Strong knowledge of payment systems including Visa, MasterCard, UPI, and gateways.
• Experience with API testing and SQL validation.
• Familiarity with SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT testing.
• Validate payment transaction flows including: Credit Cards, Debit Cards, UPI, Net Banking, Wallets, Payment Gateways.
• Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Analyze business requirements and prepare test documentation.
• Identify, track, and report defects using defect management tools.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Stakeholders.
• Validate APIs, interfaces, and backend transactions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
