Ohmium in India seeks a Testing Engineer to perform testing and data analysis of PEM electrolyzer stacks and to adapt to various tester platforms while coordinating with engineering teams. You will monitor stack and system operation, and prepare technical reports and presentations for internal reviews.
The role requires a B.Tech/B.E in electrochemical or chemical engineering and 1+ years in electrochemistry testing. Experience in renewables is a plus; strong MS Office skills are essential.
Job Description: Testing and data analysis of PEM electrolyzer stacks. Adapt to various testing and tester design and functions swiftly. Effectively work with different engineering functions to analyze and correlate the stack and system operation aptly. Work closely and provide proper instructions to test technicians to monitor the stack and system operation and performance continuously. Prepare test reports, technical summaries, and presentations for internal reviews and project updates. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency, quality, and reliability. Perform Gas chromatography (GC) analysis and data evaluation to support performance characterization and identify anomalies and key trends. Strong understanding of electrochemical characterization methods for performance evaluation and diagnostics of electrochemical systems. RCA of the system failure modes and oversee the troubleshooting and maintenance activities of the testers. Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations. Qualification: B.Tech/B.E in Electrochemical or chemical engineering or related field. Minimum 1+ years of experiences required in the Electrochemistry Testing. Previous experience in the renewable energy sector including Batteries, Fuel cells, Electrolyser and Supercapacitors added advantage. Ability to work with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. We are looking for a highly skilled testing engineer with a strong background in electrochemical engineering. In this role, they will be responsible for trouble shooting and data analysis for PEM stack testing. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in testing and understanding on electrochemical systems such as batteries, supercapacitors, electrolyzers etc., The candidate should also possess good communication skills and must adapt well in team environments.
