Job summary

Ohmium is seeking engineers to perform testing and data analysis on PEM electrolyzer stacks in a fast-growing renewable energy environment. You will adapt testing methods, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare technical reports for internal reviews.

Strong emphasis on GC analysis, electrochemical characterization, and rigorous safety and reliability standards. Candidates with 1–3 years in electrochemical testing and good communication will fit well.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Electrochemical or chemical engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in electrochemical testing.
• Experience in renewable energy sector (batteries, fuel cells, electrolyser, supercapacitors) is a plus.
• Good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Testing and data analysis of PEM electrolyzer stacks.
• Adapt to various testing and tester design and functions swiftly.

• Adapt to various testing and tester design and functions swiftly.
• Effectively work with different engineering functions to analyze and correlate the stack and system operation aptly.
• Work closely and provide proper instructions to test technicians to monitor the stack and system operation and performance continuously.
• Prepare test reports, technical summaries, and presentations for internal reviews and project updates.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency, quality, and reliability.
• Perform Gas chromatography (GC) analysis and data evaluation to support performance characterization and identify anomalies and key trends.
• Strong understanding of electrochemical characterization methods for performance evaluation and diagnostics of electrochemical systems.
• RCA of the system failure modes and oversee the troubleshooting and maintenance activities of the testers.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations.

Preferred candidate profile

• B. Tech in Electrochemical or chemical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experiences required in electrochemical testing field.
• Experience in the renewable energy sector including Batteries, Fuel cells, Electrolyser and Supercapacitors are added advantage.
• Good Communication skill is required.
