Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services is seeking an engineer to lead motor validation testing. You will conduct tests in-house and with external labs,develop efficient test processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer specifications.

You will analyze data, prepare technical reports, and ensure the integrity of performance and durability results while maintaining test facility equipment and supporting traction system testing (HV/LV).

Qualifications

• Experience with national/international environmental, structural, and motor testing standards.
• Hands-on experience with electrical equipment, data acquisition, and control systems.
• Proficient with CAN data-analysis tools (Vector CAN, Peak CAN, CANalyzer, INCA).
• Experience in electric motor/component testing, instrumentation, and test-cycle programming.
• Test bench configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of national and international standards for environmental, structural, and motor testing.


• Hands-on experience with electrical equipment, data acquisition, and control systems.


• Experience with Vector CAN, Peak CAN, CANalyzer, INCA, or similar data-analysis tools.


• Experience in electric motor/component testing, instrumentation, and test-cycle programming.


• Experience with test bench configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and commissioning.


• Hands-on experience with HV/LV traction systems.


• Customer communication and technical discussion skills.


• Strong documentation, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


• Good written and verbal English communication.

Preferred

• Experience with vibration shakers, dyno, environmental test systems, and cyclic corrosion test systems.


• Good understanding of equipment control systems and software tools for test setup, measurement, and monitoring.


• Technical curiosity and ability to work hands-on with limited supervision.


• Willingness to support flexible/multi-shift operations when required.
