Job summary

Qualitykiosk Technologies in Mumbai is seeking a QA tester specializing in Payments Testing to join our delivery teams. The role focuses on validating UPI switch transactions, integration flows, and API testing to ensure high-quality payment experiences.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in payments testing, familiarity with Postman/SOAP UI, JIRA, SQL basics, and strong analytical skills, with immediate joiner availability preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in payments testing or related QA roles.
• Hands-on testing of UPI switch transactions and integration flows.
• Experience with API testing and validation of payment processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for collections and payments apps.
• Validate UPI switch transactions and payment processing workflows.
• Execute test cases, document results, and ensure quality standards.
• Conduct API testing across integrated systems and validate transactions.
• Log, track, and retest defects through closure.
• Maintain test documentation and project repositories.
• Provide regular status updates to Test Manager and Project Manager.
• Collaborate with BAs, developers, and stakeholders to ensure delivery.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End testing for Collections and Payments applications.
• Validate UPI switch transactions and payment processing workflows.
• Execute test cases, document test results, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct API testing and transaction validation across integrated systems.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects through closure.
• Maintain test documentation, test evidence, and project-related repositories.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly status updates to the Test Manager and Project Manager.
• Follow organizational processes, reporting structures, and workplace standards.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills:

• 1-3 years of experience in Payments Testing.
• Hands-on experience in UPI Switch Functional Testing and Integration Testing.
• Strong understanding of payment transaction flows and validation.
• Experience in API Testing using tools such as Postman or SOAP UI.
• Knowledge of defect tracking and management tools such as JIRA.
• Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Collections domain applications.
• Understanding of IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, and UPI payment systems.
• Experience in Banking or Financial Services (BFSI) domain.
