Job Description: We are seeking an experienced UPI Test Lead to drive the testing activities related to UPI payment solutions. In this role, you will lead a team of testers responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of UPI integrations across the platforms. You will collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to drive efficient and effective testing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for UPI integrations across web, mobile, and other platforms.
• Define and implement automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
• Establish and maintain scalable test environments, including UPI sandbox configurations and test data management.
• Conduct thorough functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of UPI payment functionalities.
• Perform security testing and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to understand project requirements, resolve issues, and prioritize testing efforts.
• Monitor and analyze test results, track defects, and drive resolution with development teams in a timely manner.
• Stay abreast of UPI guidelines, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to ensure compliance and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on payment systems, including at least 4+ years in a leadership or senior testing role.
• Expertise in UPI payment protocols, APIs, and integration methodologies.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman).
• Strong knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Experience with security testing practices and tools (e.g., OWASP Top 10, Burp Suite).
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP) or similar certification in software testing.
• Experience in the fintech or banking industry, particularly with payment processing systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to payment systems.
