Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer with deep expertise in Platform/API test automation and Web UI test automation. The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills, experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks, and the ability to test complex microservices and web platforms using modern tools like Playwright, Selenium, Pact, and Postman.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Test Automation:

• Develop and maintain scalable API test automation frameworks using C#, TypeScript, .NET.
• Conduct exploratory and automated testing for REST APIs and Microservices.
• Utilize Postman, SoapUI, and similar tools for API validation and workflow testing.
• Perform contract testing using Pact, ensuring integration between services adheres to expectations.
• Set up and manage testing environments using Docker and cloud infrastructure like Microsoft Azure.
• Execute performance testing for cloud-based and on-premises platforms (experience desirable).
• Use Visual Studio/VS Code, Git/SourceTree, and related tools for version control and development support.

Web Test Automation:

• Design and implement UI automation frameworks for web applications using Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.
• Test across browsers, platforms, and configurations, with a deep understanding of web browser statistics and responsive behavior.
• Integrate web testing with CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Monitor application behavior using analytics tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, and debug with Charles Proxy, Fiddler, etc.
• Understand web performance testing principles and contribute to performance optimization.

Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in C#, TypeScript, and .NET technologies.
• Experience with API test automation frameworks and tools: Postman, SoapUI, RestAssured, Pact.
• Proficient with Web UI test automation tools: Playwright, Selenium.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred) and Docker-based test execution.
• Strong with version control and IDE tools: Visual Studio, VS Code, Git, Sourcetree.
• Solid understanding of API and UI testing strategies, exploratory testing, and microservices architecture.

Desirable Skills:

• Exposure to performance testing principles for web and API layers.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
• Knowledge of security testing, rate limiting, and edge case validations.
• Understanding of browser rendering behavior, accessibility, and responsive design.
