Job summary

Hinduja Leyland Finance Ltd. is seeking a Test Engineer in Chennai to design, execute, and maintain test cases for LOS and LMS applications. The role requires hands-on manual testing, SQL data validation, and API testing experience.

You will collaborate with BAs, developers, and product managers to ensure coverage, engage in regression and system testing, and support UAT while ensuring regulatory compliance in lending solutions.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the lending domain.
• Strong understanding of Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and Loan Management Systems (LMS).
• Experience with manual testing and a basic understanding of test automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities
