Job summary

BuildxPartners is seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing solutions for desktop applications at our Pune location. You will drive automation frameworks, scripting, debugging, and CI/CD integration, partnering with developers, QA teams, and product stakeholders to improve quality and release velocity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing with a strong focus on Test Automation.
• Proven experience designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as TestComplete, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Experience integrating automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and QA best practices.
• Experience writing maintainable and reusable automation code.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Eligibility / Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
