Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Pune (HSBC Software Development India) seeks an experienced Consultant Specialist to join our testing team, focusing on both manual and automated testing across multiple products within the investment banking domain.

You will gather requirements, design and execute system tests, expand automation with TOSCA and Selenium, mentor juniors, and report progress to stakeholders daily.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience in Software testing and domain.
• Work experience in Corporate Action application and Swift (essential).
• Work experience in TOSCA Automation tool (essential).
• Work experience in Selenium Automation tool (essential).
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Coordination and leadership skills.
• Investment Banking knowledge (essential).
• Exposure to Investment banking environments (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze product requirements.
• Participate in manual testing on UI enhancements and prepare the manual test cases to convert automation test scripts.
• Own System Test Plan; Ensure all testing scenarios, Business Rules are tested.
• Plan, design and execute System Testing.
• Report defects and assist in their understanding. Prepare and present test reports.
• Expand Automation and bring to the next level.
• Develop, run and maintain both manual and automated tests across multiple products.
• Responsible to track progress and share daily status to stakeholders.
• Train, mentor and supervise junior software engineers.
• Assist in development of automated test environments and QA strategies.
