Job summary

Otomeyt is seeking an experienced automation engineer to lead end-to-end Playwright initiatives across UI, API and integrated systems, delivering robust automated tests. You will design scalable Playwright frameworks (POM, fixtures, modularized utilities), establish governance, and drive CI/CD integration with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions and GitLab.

We value cross-browser, parallel, and headless execution, proactive reporting and observability, and mentoring of junior automation

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in automation engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright.
• JavaScript/TypeScript mandatory; Java or Python is a plus.
• Proven experience designing and scaling Playwright frameworks from scratch.
• Strong understanding of fixtures and custom test setup in Playwright.
• Strong understanding of parallel execution and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of cross-browser automation strategies.
• Strong understanding of API automation using Playwright or REST libraries.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD integration.
• Deep knowledge of Git workflows.
• Deep knowledge of automation reporting tools.
• Experience working in Agile environments with DevOps alignment.

Responsibilities
