Job summary

TVS Motor invites applications for a Test Analyst, EV Powertrain calibration and DVP. You will design verification plans for electric vehicle powertrain systems, validate through virtual, rig and physical tests, and ensure timely market readiness.

Role requires expertise in DFMEAs, test standards, CAN networks, and calibration tools. You will work with regulatory authorities for approvals and perform root-cause analysis to drive robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing Design Verification Plans for EV powertrain systems.
• Review DFMEAs, test standards and facilities for validation.
• Perform root-cause analysis using QC tools to mitigate issues.
• Strong domain knowledge of battery packs, MCUs, VCU and charger systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification plans for electric vehicle powertrain validation.
• Coordinate with test facilities to ensure on-time delivery of DVP activities.
• Analyze test results and propose design modifications to fix issues.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies for type approval and certification activities.
• Prepare .dbc files and CAN network configurations for testing.

Job Title / Role: Test Analyst, EV Powetrain calibration and DVP

Purpose of the role

• To ensure and deliver best in class EV powertrain system on time to market by validating physical & robust test methods

Role Description

(List down 10 (max) discrete jobs in the order of priority)

• Experience in developing Design Verification Plans for electric vehicle powertrain system and consider all customer use cases to address field issues
• Identify new failure mods in design; Review DFMEAs, Test standards and Facility to execute validation techniques (Virtual, Rig & Physical).
• Proven experience working with regulatory authorities and accredited test agencies for successful execution of type approval and certification activities
• To provide technical solutions by performing root cause analysis through QC tools and mitigate the problems.
• Good domain expertise on Battery pack, MCU, VCU and Charger systems.
• Experience of using calibration and data analysis tools (e.g N code , Vector CANape , CANoe, PCAN)
• Good understanding in CAN architecture, communication protocols & .dbc file preparation for testing & development
• Familiarity with various testing techniques and protocols for powertrain components such as chassis dynamometer, bench testing and system integration testing
