Job summary

Cyient in Bangalore seeks an experienced HiL test engineer to lead HiL test specification development and automation for EV powertrain systems. You will implement tests using dSPACE SCALEXIO and AutomationDesk, execute HiL tests, and deliver detailed reports.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop HiL test specifications based on system requirements.
• Automate test cases using dSPACE AutomationDesk.
• Execute Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing and generate detailed test reports.
• Perform root cause analysis and identify solutions for reported defects.
• Ensure complete test coverage and establish traceability between test specifications and system requirements.
• Maintain and monitor HiL test setups and testing dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system verification and validation activities.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of ePowertrain systems, including EV Charging, High-Voltage (HV) Safety, HV Battery, and eDrive.
• Hands-on experience in developing test specifications for HiL testing platforms.
• Hands-on experience with dSPACE SCALEXIO HiL systems.
• Experience in HiL test execution using dSPACE AutomationDesk or Provetech.
• Strong hands-on experience with Vector CANoe and CANape.
• Hands-on experience with dSPACE ConfigurationDesk, ControlDesk, and AutomationDesk.
• Knowledge of CAPL scripting and Python is an added advantage.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of automotive testing processes and methodologies.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Domain: Candidates with relevant ePowertrain / Electric Vehicle (EV) domain experience are preferred.
