This position is based in Gurugram, India and follows a Hybrid work model. The role supports customers across the assigned territory and requires approximately 35% travel for customer engagement, surgical case support, training activities, and business development initiatives.
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales performance and market share growth for the Soft Tissue Implants portfolio within the assigned territory. The role partners closely with surgeons, hospitals, operating room staff, and healthcare decision-makers to support product adoption, provide procedural support, expand existing accounts, and identify new business opportunities.
Achieve territory sales targets and revenue objectives for the Soft Tissue Implants portfolio, including sutures and hernia solutions.
Develop and execute territory business plans to drive account penetration, therapy adoption, and sustainable market share growth.
Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, hospital administrators, purchasing teams, nurses, and other clinical stakeholders.
Provide surgical case coverage, product demonstrations, and clinical support during procedures involving assigned therapies.
Deliver product training, therapy education, and in-service programmes for new and existing customer accounts.
Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding utilisation within existing hospital and referral centre accounts.
Monitor competitive activity, customer trends, and market dynamics to support territory planning and business growth strategies.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality requirements, and customer engagement standards while maintaining a high level of customer support.
Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Pharmacy and 4+ years of medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or related healthcare sales experience.
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue within an assigned territory.
Experience engaging with surgeons, hospitals, operating room personnel, or other healthcare professionals.
Ability to travel up to 35% within the assigned territory.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to conduct clinical and commercial discussions with healthcare stakeholders.
Experience supporting surgical procedures, operating room activities, or clinical case coverage.
Knowledge of soft tissue repair, hernia solutions, sutures, implantable products, biologics, or related surgical therapies.
Experience managing complex hospital sales cycles involving clinical evaluations, purchasing processes, and stakeholder approvals.
Proven success converting competitive accounts and expanding product utilisation within existing customers.
Experience delivering product training and clinical education programmes to healthcare professionals.
