Enza Zaden is seeking a Product Developer in Pune to lead trials, evaluate hybrids, and position new varieties for commercialization. You will ensure optimal trial material, manage data, and collaborate with the Breeder team to drive selection and market readiness.
The role requires a master's in agriculture (Agronomy), at least 3 years of relevant experience, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with local markets and processes.
A strong product selection and positioning strategy begins with systematic trialing, evaluation, and reporting of new experimental varieties across all stages of development. In the role of Product Developer , you will be responsible for conducting product trials, evaluating and analyzing hybrid performance, and identifying the most suitable hybrids for commercialization and positioning in the appropriate target markets.
As a Product Developer , you bring efficiency in planning and executing breeding experiments. You can coordinate external breeding and screening trials effectively, along with strong data management skills to support the Breeder/Senior Breeder in achieving successful crop evaluations and selections.
