Job summary

Hyosung is seeking an experienced Tender Engineer to lead substation EPC tender activities in India. The role involves reviewing tender documents, defining the project schedule, and preparing BOQ and scope for vendor quotations.

You will coordinate with design teams and sub-contractors to assemble basic designs, BOMs, and technical data for bid submissions. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience in substation tendering, strong English communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office,

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in tendering or EPC projects for substations.
• Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD experience preferred; MS Project beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Review and Summary for Substation Tender Document/Specification.
• Make overall tendering schedule for Substation EPC tender.
• Define basic BOQ and scope to request quotations from vendors and sub-contractors.
• Coordinate with Tendering design team or sub-contractors to prepare basic design and BOQ.
• Prepare inquiries, receive and clarify quotations, and negotiate with sub-vendors and contract stakeholders.
• Prepare proposal documents (overall project schedule, organisation chart, technical data and drawings from vendors) for tender.
• Costing/budgeting for Substation EPC project – supply, transport, erection, testing, civil works.
• Review tender results.

• Review and Summary for Substation Tender Document/Specification
• Making overall tendering schedule for Substation EPC tender.
• Basic BOQ and Scope define to request quotation to vendors and sub-contractors.
• Coordination with Tendering design team or sub-contractors to make Basic design and BOQ for tendering.
• Making Inquiry, receiving & clarification quotation and negotiation with sub-vendor and contractual
• Making proposal document (Overall project schedule, organisation chart, technical data and drawing received from Vendors and other required document for Tender).
• Costing / budgetary for Substation EPC project - Supply Cost (Equipment), Transportation Cost, Service cost (Erection, testing, Civil works)
• Review tender result.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
• Coordination with Design team, sub-vendors and sub-contractors for substation materials and works.
• Knowledge of Basic design and define BOQ for substation construction (Electrical, Civil and other works)
• Knowledge of equipment for substation.
• Minimum Requirements
