Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Tenable Security Architect/Administrator to lead end‑to‑end vulnerability management across hybrid environments. You will design, deploy, and automate the Tenable stack (Security Center, Tenable.io, Nessus) while integrating with ServiceNow, SIEMs, and AD.

You should bring 7–10+ years in vulnerability management, strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell/Bash), and hands-on Tenable experience. A collaborative, customer‑focused mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in vulnerability management with hands-on Tenable experience.
• Deep knowledge of Tenable Security Center and Tenable.io / Nessus scanners.
• Proficient in scripting for automation using REST APIs and JSON.

Responsibilities

• Design, scale, and maintain Tenable architecture across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid setups.
• Oversee scan policies, repositories, RBAC, plugin updates, and platform upgrades.
• Analyze results, prioritize vulnerabilities by CVSS and risk, coordinate remediation.
• Write scripts to automate health checks and reporting via REST APIs.
• Integrate Tenable with ServiceNow, SIEMs, and Active Directory.

The Role

We are looking for a Tenable Security Architect / Administrator to lead the end‑to‑end design, deployment, administration, and automation of our enterprise vulnerability management infrastructure across hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, scale, and maintain Tenable architecture (Security Center, Tenable.io/Tenable Vulnerability Management, and Nessus Scanners) across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid setups.
• Oversee daily operations, including scan policies, repositories, RBAC, platform upgrades, plugin updates, and troubleshooting scan or connectivity issues.
• Analyze scan results, prioritize vulnerabilities based on CVSS and business risk, and partner with IT/cloud teams to drive and validate remediation.
• Write scripts to automate health checks, reporting, and operational tasks using REST APIs and JSON payload processing.
• Connect Tenable platforms with ServiceNow, SIEMs (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel), and Active Directory.

Required Skillsets

• Core Platform Experience: 7–10+ years in vulnerability management with deep hands‑on expertise in Tenable Security Center, Tenable.io (Tenable Vulnerability Management), and Nessus scanners.
• Vulnerability Frameworks: Solid knowledge of vulnerability management lifecycles, asset discovery, credentialed scanning, CVE, CVSS scoring, and CIS Benchmarks.
• Scripting & APIs: Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash, with practical experience utilizing REST APIs and processing JSON data for operational automation.
• System Integration: Proven experience integrating Tenable with ServiceNow, SIEM solutions (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel), and Active Directory.
• Operations & Maintenance: Hands‑on experience with platform upgrades, scanner deployment, policy configurations, and troubleshooting scan failures or network issues.

Preferred Skillsets

• Cloud Exposure: Working knowledge of cloud security scanning mechanics in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Certifications: Tenable Certified Security Center Specialist/Architect, CISSP, CEH, or CISM.
• Governance & Compliance: Experience supporting security audits, compliance mapping, and executive metrics reporting.
