Position Summary: Strategic Transformation Leader with Data and AI expertise.
Objective and Purpose
- With EY’s rapid expansion of AI‑led transformation programs, the role will architect and deliver enterprise‑scale AI, data, and cloud modernization solutions.
- The role will originate and win marquee AI transformation deals, integrating GenAI, data platforms, advanced analytics, and automation capabilities.
- Telecom sector experience will be used to strengthen go‑to‑market strategies, but the remit covers multi‑industry AI and data opportunities.
Scope of the Position
- Originate large‑scale AI and data transformation opportunities by interpreting disruption across cloud, GenAI, intelligent automation, data governance, data monetization, and industry‑specific AI adoption trends.
- Serve as trusted advisor to C‑suite leaders on AI‑driven value creation, cost transformation, new revenue models, and data‑enabled decision intelligence.
- Institutionalize pursuit excellence, improving win rates through disciplined qualification standards, AI‑enhanced proposal development, and differentiated value articulation.
Essential Functions of the Job
- Lead large, complex AI‑transformation pursuits, including enterprise GenAI programs, AI‑native operating model redesign, data platform modernization, cloud migration, and analytics‑driven performance improvement.
- Design and deliver enterprise data modernization programs including data‑platform engineering, data governance, MDM, data quality, metadata management, and advanced analytics implementations.
- Build and maintain senior executive relationships, positioning EY as the primary advisor for enterprise AI strategy, AI‑at‑scale implementation, and cloud‑driven data transformation.
- Design and deliver cost‑transformation and profitability‑improvement programs encompassing network‑operations optimization, digital OSS/BSS modernization, shared services/GCO design, spectrum‑usage efficiency, and technology‑enabled automation across customer operations, field services, and network engineering.
- Oversee development and commercialization of Telecom‑specific assets, platforms, and benchmarking solutions, including network‑cost benchmarks, telco‑to‑tech migration frameworks, customer‑operations maturity models, and 5G monetization toolkits, ensuring client relevance and market differentiation.
- Shape and articulate compelling, value‑differentiated proposals that integrate capabilities across network transformation, operations, strategy, finance, technology, and organizational change to holistically address client needs.
- Drive integrated go‑to‑market initiatives across Consulting, SaT, Tax, and Assurance, ensuring a unified sector approach and leveraging cross‑service‑line expertise to bring holistic, business‑outcome‑led solutions.
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities
- Exercise strategic judgment in evaluating pursuit opportunities, including deal qualification, win‑probability assessment, competitive positioning, and required investment levels to secure large, complex transformation engagements.
- Make informed decisions on solution architecture and value propositions by analyzing network‑operations data, cost structures, customer‑experience metrics, digital‑stack maturity, and industry benchmarks to shape differentiated proposals.
- Direct the development of pricing, commercial models, and deal‑shaping strategies for major pursuits, balancing risk, margin, delivery feasibility, regulatory constraints, and client value considerations.
- Analyze client industry trends, competitive dynamics, and financial performance to inform account strategy, go‑to‑market priorities, and investment in sector‑specific assets or accelerators.
- Make decisions on solution architecture involving GenAI, cloud platforms, data engineering, analytics, and automation, grounded in technical, financial, and operational analysis.
Education and Experience
- 25+ Years in Consulting (Big 4, strategy consulting), AI and data leadership roles, or large‑scale digital transformation.
- Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MS in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering).
- Experience in the telecom sector (network operations, OSS/BSS stacks, 5G/FTTx technologies).
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Deep expertise in AI, GenAI, data engineering, data platforms, analytics, MLOps, cloud transformation, and responsible AI frameworks.
- Strong commercial and deal‑shaping skills with proven experience winning and delivering multi‑tower AI and data transformation programs.
- Understanding of AI and data applications in telecom, including network analytics, customer intelligence, digital operations, OSS/BSS modernization, and AI‑native network automation.
- Ability to integrate cross‑functional capabilities—strategy, technology, risk, cyber, finance, organizational change—into compelling AI‑enabled solutions.
- Exceptional C‑suite communication, relationship building, and executive presence.
- Expertise in governing enterprise‑scale AI and data programs, ensuring value, risk mitigation, and alignment with transformation outcomes.

- Experience with GenAI‑native architectures, agentic AI, enterprise LLM deployment, and AI‑enhanced workflows.
- Exposure to AI‑native or autonomous telecom networks, AI‑driven RAN/Core optimization, and self‑healing systems.
- Experience leading large, multi‑market AI‑transformation engagements across APAC, Middle East, Europe, Africa, or the Americas.
- Published thought leadership or participation in AI innovation forums, cloud summits, and global technology conferences.
