Job summary

Qural Talent Nexus is seeking a skilled structural detailer to create accurate 3D steel models using Tekla Structures for diverse projects in Chennai, India. You will interpret structural and architectural drawings to develop precise models and prepare comprehensive fabrication and erection drawings.

Responsibilities include modeling steel connections per design specs, producing MTO reports, and coordinating with engineers to resolve RFIs while applying imperial and metric units in line with

Qualifications

• Interpret structural and architectural drawings to develop detailed models.
• Ensure models comply with industry codes and standards.
• Prepare fabrication and erection drawings as required.
• Model steel connections (welded, bolted, moment, shear) per design specs.

• Produce fabrication/shop drawings, GA drawings, and erection drawings.
• Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO) reports.
• Coordinate with engineers to resolve RFIs and implement design changes.
• Work across imperial & metric units, complying with international standards (AISC, UK, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures (Modeling only).
• Knowledge of structural steel detailing standards.
• Ability to read structural/architectural drawings.
• Understanding of connection design principles.
