Job summary

Devashish Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. seeks a dedicated Tekla detailer to model 3D structural elements for Pre-Engineered Buildings and generate GA and fabrication drawings.

You will extract BOMs from Tekla models to support procurement and production, while resolving clashes and maintaining revision records. Ideal candidates have 2–7 years of Tekla modeling experience and hold an ITI Drafting Certificate or a Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Mandatory experience in PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings) only.
• 2 to 7 years of hands-on Tekla modeling and structural steel detailing.
• ITI Drafting Certificate or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• 3D Modeling: Develop highly accurate 3D structural models for PEB using Tekla Structures.
• Drawing Generation: Create GA drawings, workshop drawings, and part/assembly drawings.
• Material Take-offs: Extract BOM, bolt lists, and material lists from the Tekla model for procurement and production.
• Clash Resolution: Identify and resolve spatial conflicts in the digital model before production.
• Revision Control: Incorporate design modifications and client revisions with clear documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• 3D Modeling: Develop highly accurate 3D structural models exclusively for Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) using Tekla Structures.
• Drawing Generation: Generate detailed General Arrangement (GA) drawings, workshop/shop fabrication drawings, and part/assembly drawings.
• Material Take-offs: Extract precise Bill of Materials (BOM), bolt lists, and material running lists directly from the Tekla model to aid our procurement and production teams.
• Clash Resolution: Identify, report, and correct spatial conflicts and detailing clashes within the digital model before drawings are cleared for production.
• Revision Control: Rapidly incorporate design modifications and client revisions into the active models, maintaining clear documentation.

Candidate Qualifications

• Field of Expertise: Mandatory experience in PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings) only. General civil concrete or standard building drafting profiles will not be considered.
• Experience: 2 to 7 years of dedicated, hands-on experience in Tekla modeling and structural steel detailing.
• Education: Minimum ITI Drafting Certificate or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced command over Tekla Structures (Modeling & Drawing environments).
• Strong reading and comprehension of structural design concepts and architectural drawings.
• Solid understanding of steel fabrication methods, welding symbols, and connection details.
